Abstarct: Abstract Given the importance of energy and the limitations of available resources, reducing energy consumption in refrigeration cycles has become a major focus of engineering research. The primary focus of these studies is on the high-energy-consuming components of the refrigeration cycle, particularly the compressor. In this study, a concept is proposed that involves the use of an ejector in a vapor compression refrigeration cycle with two evaporators. The main objective is to reduce compressor power consumption and improve the cycle's coefficient of performance (COP). Thermodynamic analysis software EES is used in this research to model the cycle. First, the basic cycle is designed, and parameters such as COP and compressor power consumption are calculated. Then, the proposed cycle, including the ejector and two evaporators, is modeled, and the results are compared with those of the basic cycle. The analysis shows that the use of an ejector in the proposed cycle can recover part of the compressor work, leading to an increase in COP by up to 34% and a reduction in power consumption by up to 47%. The results also demonstrate that, despite the high initial cost, the proposed system offers a favorable payback period due to significant energy savings. The validity of these results has been verified through comparison with experimental data and similar designs in industrial cycles. The findings indicate that the proposed ejector-equipped cycle can be an efficient option for industrial refrigeration applications.
