The Mardehak granitoid intrusions in East of Jiroft are part of the Tertiary granitoid batholith of the Jebal-e-Barez. In this area, a large volume of granitoid intrusive bodies (gabrodiorite/diorite-quartzdiorite/quartz monzonite, granodiorite and granite-alkali granite) of Oligo-Miocene are outcropped into the volcano-sedimentary rocks of Eocene. Detailed field investigations indicate the existence of an obvious normal zoning of the injection of granitoid masses, including: a) basic-intermediate masses at the beginning and at the margins, b) intermediate masses of quartzdiorite/quartz monzonite to granodiorite in the middle, and c) granite-alkali-granite masses and differentiated pegmatite-aplite veins at the end and in the center. The diabasic dykes, as the last magmatic activity, have cut all these masses. The sequence of granitoid injection in the region in successive and related phases indicates the occurrence of magma chamber processes, especially magmatic differentiation. baxsed on the whole-rock geochemical data, these granitoids have high-K calc-alkaline to normal calc-alkaline compositions and mextaluminous I-type nature of the active marginal continental arc subduction environment. The results obtained from various thermobarometric methods indicate that the granitoids in the region crystallized from an oxidized magma (LogfO₂ ranging from -17 to -13) under pressures of 0.22 to 6 kbar and over a temperature range of 545 to 918 oC. The pressure data suggest magma emplacement at varying depths of between 1 and 17 kilometers within the crust. U-Pb dating on zircon crystals from these rocks reveals the generation and emplacement of granitoid magma in two separate events during the Late Eocene-Early Oligocene (35–29 Ma) and Late Oligocene (25–24 Ma), in a syn- to post-collisional tectonic regime. The zoned and annular structure of the alteration halos is indicative of Cu porphyry–epithermal mineralization systems associated with deep to semi–deep intrusive bodies, which are primarily controlled by structural features. baxsed on the results of U – Pb dating on zircon crystals and the concentration of hydrothermal alteration and mineralization in the south – eastern parts of the study area, it seems that late oligocene (In relation with quartz diorite and granodiorites) have the most important role in mineralization.
