Abstarct: 2-Amino-4H-pyrans are of great importance due to their diverse biological properties, such as anticancer, antibacterial, antihyperglycemic, and antitumor activities. In this study, various 2-amino-4H-pyran derivatives were synthesized via a three-component reaction involving malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate, and aromatic aldehydes, using a deep eutectic solvent as an efficient and eco-friendly catalyst under solvent-free conditions. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by comparing their melting points with literature values and analyzing their ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, and FT-IR spectra.
