Abstarct: This research aims to address the challenge of designing sustainable accommodation facilities in environmentally sensitive desert areas by seeking an indigenous architectural model that enhances the geomorphotourism potential of the Sirjan Salt Pan while maintaining maximum compatibility with the natural environment. Using a descxriptive–analytical methodology combined with fieldstudies, the climatic and physical characteristics of the site were first analyzed. Subsequently, the design concept was developed baxsed on the morphology of the land and the geometric patterns of desert salt cracks. The findings of this process led to the design of a desert ecocamp employing the Superadobe construction system. Due to the use of local materials, high thermal mass, and dome-shaped forms adapted to prevailing winds, the proposed design improves thermal comfort and reduces energy consumption while establishing a strong visual identity aligned with the region’s geomorphological structure. Furthermore, the integration of elements such as a central courtyard and modern wind catchers presents a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional Iranian architecture, offering a sustainable architectural model for the development of geomorphotourism in desert environments.
