The statistical population of the study included households familiar with the capital market in Iran. Data were collected from 390 eligible respondents using convenience sampling and an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling and SmartPLS software and were analyzed using statistical software. The results of the study showed that the findings of the study showed that social networks have a positive and significant effect on perceived financial literacy with a coefficient of (0.484) and the perceived tendency of households has a positive effect on participation in the stock market with a coefficient of (0.233). Also, inflation expectations have a positive and significant effect on perceived financial literacy with a coefficient of (0.309) and on the tendency to participate with a coefficient of (0.322). In addition, the effect of perceived financial literacy on the tendency to participate in the Iranian stock market was also confirmed. The results of the path analysis showed that perceived financial literacy plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between social networks and the tendency to participate, but perceived financial literacy does not play a mediating role in the relationship between inflation expectations and the household's perceived tendency to participate. Among the control variables, only the history of activity in the stock market had a significant effect on the tendency to participate, and the effects of other demographic variables such as gender, age, education, and income were not confirmed.
