Abstarct: This study aims to examine the impact of remittance inflows from Iraqis living abroad on key indicators of financial development in Iraq, over the period 2022 to 2025. In the Iraqi economy, cross-border remittances sent by migrants are a vital source of liquidity that can play a decisive role in the stability of the financial system. By testing three main hypotheses, this study seeks to measure the impact of these financial flows on three variables: financial depth, financial inclusion, and bank deposits. The research methodology is baxsed on time series analysis and the use of econometric models to analyze inter-variable relationships in the changing economic conditions of Iraq. The research findings show that remittances from Iraqis living abroad have a positive and significant impact on the development of financial indicators; so that an increase in these flows leads to an increase in the level of financial inclusion, an increase in liquidity in the form of bank deposits, and ultimately an improvement in the depth of financial markets in the country. The results of this study can guide policymakers at the Central Bank of Iraq in facilitating formal channels for money transfers and reducing dependence on informal systems.
