Abstarct: The present study aimed to investigate the role of technology in fostering fan loyalty through the mediating mechanism of trust among fans of prominent Iraqi football clubs. The research method was descxriptive-analytical, and data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares approach (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS software. The statistical population included fans of prominent clubs in the cities of Baghdad, Erbil, and Basra. Following the ten-fold rule for determining sample size in PLS-SEM, 120 questionnaires were distributed, and the collected data from the statistical sample were analyzed. The research findings confirmed all hypotheses at all significance levels; meaning that technology has a direct and significant effect on both fan trust and fan loyalty. Furthermore, trust plays a significant mediating role in explaining the relationship between technology and fan loyalty. These results emphasize the importance of utilizing new technologies in strengthening the bonds of trust and loyalty within the organizational structure of football clubs. This study provides practical insights for football club managers, particularly in the Middle Eastern context, regarding the strategic deployment of digital technologies not merely as communication tools, but as trust-building mechanisms that ultimately lead to sustainable fan loyalty.
