GV368 : The effect of self-efficacy on the subjective well-being of physical education faculty members with mediating role of work passion

Abstarct: the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self - efficacy and subjective well - being of faculty members of physical education universites on the mediating role of job engagement. the present study was a descxriptive - correlation and structural equation modeling (sem). the statistical population consisted of the members of the faculty of physical education in the universities of iraq. the data were collected by three questionnaires including Ventura-León mental well - being (2023), job engagement questionnaire Serrano-Fernández (2017) and vera - efficacy questionnaire (2011). its reliability was confirmed by cronbach 's alpha coefficient and its reliability and its validity was confirmed by convergent, formal and content validity. for data analysis using spss software and structural equation modeling by using smart PLS3 soft ware. the results showed that self - efficacy has an impact on subjective well - being of the members of the scientific education faculty members in iraq; and also through job engagement has an impact on the subjective well - being of the members of the scientific board. in general, it can be said that self - efficacy of physical education faculty members has a key role in increasing job engagement and improving their mental health. the support of the universities through the development of skills and improving the work environment, improved self - efficacy, enthusiasm and subjective well - being of the teachers.
